The Denver Broncos re-signed a key special teamer today, David Bruton. Bruton was given a three year deal and the team avoided letting him enter free agency. He is one of the teams best special team players, and adds depth at the safety position. He was in on more than 375 special team plays in 2012 and was the team leader in the statistic. He was also named a third alternate for the AFC Pro Bowl team.

Elvis Dumvervil’s status with the Broncos is still up in the air, and the team has asked him to take a pay cut. If he doesn’t the team has until Sunday to either trade or release Dumvervil.
