Colorado Rockies set to open season against Milwaukee Brewers

Tonight was Opening Night, and tomorrow is Opening Day. Yeah, I know, it’s kind of confusing. But either way, Jhoulys Chacin will start against Yovanni Gallardo at 12:10 on Monday afternoon.

The opening day lineup should look something like this:

  • Dexter Fowler – CF
  • Josh Rutledge – 2B
  • Carlos Gonzalez – LF
  • Troy Tulowitzki – SS
  • Michael Cuddyer – RF
  • Todd Helton – 1B
  • Wilin Rosario – C
  • Chris Nelson – 3B
  • Jhoulys Chacin – P

Not a bad lineup, actually. I like their lineup, it’s just the pitching that is going to kill them. I think the lineup is set the right way, I just wish Tyler Colvin could have found his way onto the roster some way or another. Like I said in my last post, he’ll eventually be up here.

But either way, Opening Day is tomorrow. The Rockies take on the Brewers, in Milwaukee, at 12:10 MT.
