The Denver Nuggets (25-28) snapped a five-game skid last night in Milwaukee defeating the Bucks by the final of 101-90. Nuggets power forward Kenneth Faried would have himself a game, scoring 26 points on 11-of-15 shooting, hauling in 6 rebounds to go with 2 assists. The Denver Nuggets would make a couple of trades on NBA Trade Deadline Thursday, acquiring point guard Aaron Brooks and power forward Jan Vesely — both are expected to make their Denver Nuggets debuts.

“You know, nobody wanted to have the situation come down to what it came to, so we wish Andre the best in Washington. It gives him a chance to do what he loves to do and get out there and play basketball, so it’s a better situation for him,” Shaw said.
Aaron Brooks could likely be in the starting lineup come Friday night as Ty Lawson continues to heal from a fractured rib. With a win, Denver can win their sixth-straight over the Chicago Bulls. These two teams last played on Nov. 21st with Denver coming away with the 97-87 win on TNT. At the time, star point guard Derrick Rose was in the lineup and is now out for the remainder of the season with another knee injury.
D.J. Augustin was waived earlier in the season by the Toronto Raptors and is now proving to be a key pick-up for the Derrick Rose-less Bulls. The guard is 14-of-25 from behind-the-arc in the last six games, while shooting 43.4% percent from deep for the Bulls in 33 games.
