The Colorado Avalanche (48-21-6, 102 points) earned two points Tuesday night in overtime after defeating the Columbus Blue Jackets on the road, 3-2. CaptainGabriel Landeskogsaved the day as he took a shot that appeared to deflect off of the Blue Jackets defender and into the net for his second goal of the game. Colorado started the game out slow as Columbus took advantage in the second period.

The game would remain scoreless as both teams earned a point as it went into overtime. Time was winding down with 33 seconds remaining, Gabriel Landeskog took a shot that appeared to deflect off of a Blue Jackets defenseman that trickled into the net for the overtime win.
