Andre Caldwell, wide receiver for the Denver Broncos, could carve out a bigger role for himself in the Broncos offense next season following the departure of Eric Decker. While I’m confident Bubba is spending plenty of time this offseason running routes, catching balls from Peyton Manning during informal workouts, and improving his conditioning, he also seems to be dedicating some time to refining his fashion game.
Judging from several photos he recently shared on his Instagram account, Caldwell’s primary fashion influences are Russell Westbrook of the NBA’s Oklahoma City Thunder and hip-hop artist/producer extraordinaire Pharrell:
Skinny jeans? Check. Short-sleeved button-up done all the way up? Check. Comically gigantic hat under which he may or may not be attempting to smuggle a squirrel? Check!
And just when you thought he only owned one Pharrell hat — BOOM! — Caldwell hits you with the alternate version:
Personally, I’m all for players expressing their individuality off the field. We all know the NFL does everything in its power to stamp out any attempts at incorporating flair into player uniforms on the field.
Whatever makes you happy, Bubba.
