The Colorado Rockies are now losers of eight-straight as the road only gets harder from this point on. After looking at the upcoming pitching matchups in the next 12 games, the Rockies face pitchers with a combined record of 58-30.

Jhoulys Chacin will look to be the one to stop the skid and get the Rockies back on the right track. He hasn’t been the same pitcher since dealing with shoulder inflammation prior to Spring Training, going 0-4 in six starts this season. In his most recent outing against the Cleveland Indians on June 1st, Chacin gave up four runs on three hits through five innings, walking five and striking out four.

The Los Angeles Dodgers will counter with Zack Greinke who has been phenomenal this season. Zach is currently 8-2 on the season in 12 starts with an ERA of 2.50, ranking 1st in the NL in wins and 5th in the NL in ERA. In Greinke’s last outing against the Pittsburgh Pirates on June 1st, he would give up four runs in six innings of work, giving up five hits, two walks, while striking out seven.
