The Colorado Rockies look to shake their losing ways Friday night as they take on the Milwaukee Brewers at Miller Park.  Milwaukee took the first game of a four-game set last night 7-4, despite Rockies third baseman Ryan Wheeler clubbing a grand slam.

Pitching Matchup:

COL: Tyler Matzek: (1-2, 5.19 ERA)
MIL: Kyle Lohse: (9-2, 3.20 ERA)

Tyler Matzek will take the hill for the Colorado Rockies and looks to get back on track after losing two-straight consecutive outings. During his last time out, the southpaw would give up five earned over 5.1 innings, giving up seven hits while walking four batters. We all knew Matzek has struggled with command history in his past as it showed against the Brew Crew in his last outing.

Kyle Lohse will counter Matzek as he looks to extend the Brewers win streak. The 35-year-old righty out of Chico, California picked up his 9th win of the season against the Colorado Rockies last week. He too would deal with some command issues, walking three over five innings. He ended up giving up three earned on seven hits, striking out three over that span. Tonight, Lohse aims for his 10th win of the season.
