They just can’t seem to put a consistent string of games together, referring to the Colorado Rockies. Last night they fell to the Milwaukee Brewers on a walk-off RBI single from Ryan Braun to collect the 3-2 win. This afternoon, Milwaukee aims for the series win. Good news for the Rockies is that third baseman Nolan Arenado will begin a rehab-stint Sunday and Monday for the Tulsa Drillers (Double-A affiliate).

Pitching Matchup:

COL: Jhoulys Chacin (1-6, 4.84 ERA)
MIL: Matt Garza (4-5, 4.01 ERA)

Jhoulys Chacin will look to put his last start behind him as he gears up for a potent Brewers lineup. Chacin picked up his 6th loss of the season during his last outing against the St. Louis Cardinals, giving up five runs on four hits, including three walks during six innings. His control has been concerning this season, collecting a 4.21 BB/9 which is the worst in his young career. Jhoulys has walked 27 batters in 57.2 innings pitched.

Matt Garza will toe the rubber, looking to give the Milwaukee Brewers yet another series victory. The veteran righty picked up his 5th loss of the season in his last outing, despite pitching very well. Garza would hold the Washington Nations to three runs on five hits, walking two and striking out seven over seven strong innings. Garza has pitched into the seven in each of his last three starts.
