The Denver Nuggets came out with their 2014 Summer League roster and you might notice a few names that stick out. Nuggets second-round pick back in 2013 Quincy Miller headlines the list with first-round selection 19th overall, Gary Harris out of Michigan State University.

More from Denver Nuggets

Miller, 21, appeared in 52 games last season with the Denver Nuggets after only appearing in 7 during his rookie campaign. Miller saw the court a lot due to injuries to front court players such as Danilo Gallinari, Wilson Chandler, Darrell Arthur, and J.J. Hickson. Quincy would go on to average 4.9 points, 21. rebounds, and 0.6 blocks per game.

Harris, 19, was drafted 19th overall in the NBA Draft by the Chicago Bulls but was involved in a deal shipping Doug McDermott (11th overall pick) to the Bulls for Harris and Jursuf Nurkic (16th overall pick). Gary would average 16.7 points per game his sophomore year at Michigan State, collecting 4.0 rebounds, 2.7 assists, and 1.8 steals.

Carlon Brown is also a name that might be familiar with the Boulder area where he spent his senior year of college playing for Tad Boyle at the University of Colorado. Another familiar name would be Brandon Jefferson who attended Metro State University in Denver, Colorado.
