The Colorado Rockies made a slew of moves prior to Tuesday night’s game against the Chicago Cubs at Wrigley Field. Justin Morneau and Boone Logan were activated off of the 15-day disabled list while the corresponding moves were sending down Brooks Brown and Ben Paulsen.

The Rockies would also call up the teams 13th ranked best prospect according to MLB Pipeline, Cristhian Adames. Chad Bettis would be the corresponding move sent down to Triple-A Colorado Springs.

Adames, 23, is a switch-hitting infielder who put up decent numbers at Double-A Tulsa. Adames slashed at a line of .276/.335/.349 with nine doubles three triples, two home runs, and 37 RBI’s. He was promoted to Colorado Springs during the 2014 season. He played in nine games for the Sky Sox, hitting .273 with three doubles and 3 RBI’s in 33 at-bats.
