The Denver Nuggets (1-4) shooting woes have attributed to their lackluster start this far – shot selection included. Denver is losers of four-straight after falling to the new-look Cleveland Cavaliers Friday night on ESPN, 110-101. Tonight, Denver will take on a Northwest Division rival in the Portland Trailblazers on the road.

When: Sunday, November 9th

In order for the Denver Nuggets to be successful tonight, they will need to start out the first quarter the way they’ve finished games of late. Denver is getting outscored in the first quarter, 147-101 through five games. Denver must get out to a fast-start tonight against a very good Portland Trailblazers squad.

Denver might be without Ty Lawson, who has been dealing with a sore ankle this past week. Lawson missed Friday night’s game against Cleveland and is questionable for tonight’s contest. Also, J.J. Hickson is eligible to return to tonight’s game after serving his five-game suspension for violating the teams of the anti-drug program.
