The Denver Nuggets are riding the hot hand now as they are winners of two-straight. Denver is coming off a 107-100 home win over the Oklahoma City Thunder Wednesday night, looking to make it three-straight tonight with the New Orleans Pelicans paying a visit.

What: Game 12: New Orleans Pelicans (6-4) vs. Denver Nuggets (4-7)
When: Friday, November 21st
Where: Pepsi Center (Denver, Colorado)
Time: 9:00 PM EST, 7:00 PM MST.

Denver has won two consecutive games which might be because of the play of point guard Ty Lawson. When Lawson is aggressive, it’s good for the Denver Nuggets. Over the last four games (3-1 record), Lawson is averaging 16.8 points and 11.5 assists. Not to mention, Lawson has recorded two consecutive double-doubles – both winning efforts.

Play from Denver’s small forward Wilson Chandler has gone unnoticed, but he’s been an important part of Denver’s success as well as Lawson. Over his last four games, Chandler is averaging 14.3 points, 7.0 rebounds, and 1.8 assists. Chandler has scored in double-figures in all except two games this season – Denver lost both of those games.

You can also bring up Arron Afflalo‘s name. Over the span of the last four games, Afflalo has averaged 17.8 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 2.6 assists.

More from Denver Nuggets

The New Orleans Pelicans are a dark-horse team to make the playoffs out of the tough Western Conference. However, if one player goes down, they’re in a bit of trouble. That player would be none other than Anthony Davis. Davis was second overall pick back in the 2012 draft and hasn’t disappointed one bit. The forward/center is averaging 25.5 points, 11.4 rebounds, and 3.9 blocks per contest as his name continues to be brought up in MVP talks.

Containing Davis will be a key part of Denver’s success tonight. In New Orleans last game, Davis scored 28 points on 11-of-19 shooting, collecting 9 rebounds, 3 blocks, and 2 steals in a 106-100 win.
