More from Denver Nuggets

Danilo Gallinari’s play has increasingly gotten better over the past few games. Although he only scored 9 points on 3-of-9 shooting vs. Portland the other night, Gallo finished the game with a team-high +9 plus/minus. Gallo did not participate in shootaround this morning due to an illness but expects to play tonight.

The Nuggets will be taking on a tough Washington Wizards team led by John Wall. Wall continues to improve his game year-after-year. This season (17 games), Wall is averaging 18.1 points, 9.6 assists, and 4.4 rebounds per contest.

Another key part of the Wizards team is Bradley Beal. In Washington’s 111-95 win over the Los Angeles Lakers Wednesday night, Beal scored a team-high 27 points on 11-of-19 shooting, collecting 2 rebounds, 7 assists, and 1 steal. Denver will need to keep both of Washington’s guards in check.
