In the shadows of the Miami Heat’s amazing winning streak of 21 consecutive games, the Nuggets have been on their best roll of the season. A strong fourth quarter helped the Nuggets knock out the Memphis Grizzlies tonight, a team who had won 14 of their last 15.
The Nuggets didn’t play their best game, but like they always say, a win is a win. Kosta Koufos led the team in scoring on the night with 18 points, and Danilo Gallinari, Andre Igoudala, Corey Brewer, and Andre Miller all finished with double figures.
The Nuggets only scored ten points in the third quarter, and trailed by eight points heading into the fourth quarter. Denver outscored Memphis 29-14 in the fourth quarter to help guide them to the win, as they took the lead with less than two minutes left.
All in all, the Nuggets are on fire. They aren’t going to get much publicity because of what the Heat are doing, but this is the time you want to make sure you’re tuning into watch the Denver Nuggets as much as you can.
