Denver Broncos could be hosting season opener

The NFL always makes sure they open they season with a great game, and after the AFC Divisional Playoff game we saw this January, they decided to make the Ravens vs Broncos the Thursday night matchup.

The season almost always kicks off at the Superbowl champions stadium, but after the recent conflict between the Baltimore Orioles and Baltimore Ravens, the game will be played in Denver. This is good news for the Broncos, and Broncos fans should be excited. Not only will it be a great game, but it will also put the national spotlight on Denver for one of the most anticipated games of the season.
The Ravens and the NFL asked the Orioles, who play a home game on September 5th, to alter their schedule. They declined, and the Ravens don’t have any other choice but to go on the word. Good for the Orioles for not giving into the NFL.
Also, if Elvis Dumervil signs with the Baltimore Ravens, which is very possible at this point, that will make the game that much better.
The game will be played on Thursday, September 5th, but it’s still not official that it will be played in Denver. If the Orioles, for some reason, decide to give into the NFL, it will most surely be played in Baltimore. If they remain on the refusal side, I would almost surely think the Broncos will be hosting the Superbowl champs at home.
