Colorado wide receiver Paul Richardson will enter the 2014 NFL Draft according to ESPN. In 2012, Richardson suffered a torn ACL in practice, this quote is via CUBuffs.com on Richardson’s bio.
"2012 (Jr.)—Redshirted; he suffered a torn ACL in the final week of spring practice (April 9) and underwent surgery on April 16; though it was first thought that he would miss the 2012 season for certain, he was able to practice toward the end of the year as he healed quicker expected. But he took the redshirt as planned."
Richardson would bounce back in the 2013 campaign, catching 83 passes for 1,343 yards; both were record breaking numbers.
"Richardson caught 83 passes for 1,343 yards to break Michael Westbrook’s record of 76 passes and Charles E. Johnson’s mark of 1,149 yards, both set in 1992. Richardson also caught 10 touchdown passes, one off the school’s season record."
Richardson would receive the Zack Jordan Award; the team’s most valuable player, as the award was handed out at the teams season ending banquet, Sunday night. In his college career, Richardson would catch 156 passes for 2,412 yards, and 21 touchdowns.
