After defeating the New England Patriots in Sunday afternoons AFC Championship Game, the Denver Broncos earned a spot in Super Bowl 48 and would have to wait to find out their opponent at MetLife Stadium on February 2nd after the NFC Championship Game between San Francisco 49ers vs. Seattle Seahawks. The Seattle Seahawks would win the game after Colin Kaepernick threw an interception with under a minute to go as Richard Sherman deflected the pass and went into the hands of Malcolm Smith, sealing the game as the Seahawks escaped with the 23-17 victory. Denver will be the host team in the game and will have the choice of jersey, which will most likely be orange. Let the Super Bowl Madness begin and here are some rapid reactions around the locker room about the win on Sunday.

Here is what Peyton Manning had to say about his offensive line stepping up this season via DenverBroncos.com:

"“I’m extremely proud of (center) Manny (Ramirez),” Manning said. “He’s one of our strongest guys on the team, and I’m just proud of the way he’s improved all season. (Tackle) Chris Clark replacing (injured tackle)Ryan Clady—arguably the best left tackle in the game—that is not an easy job to replace, and just proud of the way he’s improved and seized that opportunity. Really it’s been a close-knit unit, and those guys played great today and I’m real proud of them.”"

After 15 seasons of NFL play, Champ Bailey has finally reached the Super Bowl. Here is what teammate Eric Decker had to say of veteran and captain Champ Bailey:

"You hear stories from him and you understand that, again, this isn’t going to come every year,” wide receiver Eric Decker said. “You’ve got to be blessed and be thankful to be in this position. Guys like him that have put a lot into football, have given a lot to the NFL – is a future Hall of Famer – to give him an opportunity to be in the Super Bowl is what the young guys really cherish and push for.”"

Here is what quarterback Peyton Manning had to say about Champ reaching the Super Bowl:

"“I’m certainly happy for Champ, I know a lot of people are,” quarterback Peyton Manning said. “It’s hard to get to the Super Bowl. It’s hard to win it, but I’m telling you it’s hard to get there. I’m happy for Champ. I know he’s excited. He played well today, I’m glad that he’s back out there on the field. He’s battled through some injuries and has stayed at it and been committed to his rehab. I know he’s excited and I’m certainly happy for him.”"

The Denver Broncos will be taking on the Seattle Seahawks in Super Bowl 48 on February 2nd at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
