Here are your Mile High Links for Friday, January 24th. What a difference a day makes in the state of Colorado. The Denver Broncos opened their Super Bowl practice up on Thursday at Dove Valley in the frigid 10-degree temperatures with fresh snow. Friday however would be a complete 360 as the skies cleared up and reached the temperature of 46-degrees. The Denver Broncos would get defensive end Mitch Unrein back at practice Friday afternoon according to Lindsay Jones as he has been battling a knee injury that he suffered in the AFC Championship Game against the New England Patriots. He was limited in practice as well.

The Broncos however would be without their pro-bowl kicker Matt Prater for the second-straight day due to an illness. Prater set an NFL Record this season as he kicked a 64-yard field goal in the frigid temperatures against the Tennessee Titans at Sports Authority Field. Half back Knowshon Moreno was a limited-participant in practice today as he has dealt with a rib/chest injury he suffered last Sunday.

Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Percy Harvin was cleared Thursday afternoon after passing concussion protocol. He has only appeared in two games this season because of the ongoing concussion symptoms and a hip injury. Here is what cornerback Champ Bailey had to say about Harvin via Patrick Saunders of The Denver Post:

"“That’s a dangerous man right there,” Bailey said. “He can change the game if you allow him to. I remember playing him when he was in Minnesota, and he’s one of the most explosive guys coming off the ball."

Broncos wide-out Eric Decker also believes Denver’s receivers have to be physical with the Seattle defense, here is what he had to say via The Denver Post:

"“I think all around, they have the best defense in the NFL and they get after opponents,” Decker said after practice at the Broncos’ Dove Valley headquarters. “I think you have to play from the first snap. You have to be physical, because these guys are going to get you at the line, they are going to get you at the top of routes and they will come down to hit you. So you have to make sure you bring it to them as well.”"

The Broncos will have one more practice Saturday afternoon at Dove Valley before heading out to New York on Sunday.
