It is media week in the National Football League as the Denver Broncos are set to take on the Seattle Seahawks in Super Bowl 48 on Sunday. Here are some topics and questions that have been asked.

Richard Sherman is one of the best cover corners in the game today and his stats prove it.  During the regular season, Sherman would accumulate 48 tackles while picking off 8 passes which was first in the NFL. Sherman was asked where he believes Demaryius Thomas stands via NFL.com:

"“I definitely think he’s top five,” Sherman said. “He put together the type of year and done everything in his power to put himself in that conversation. He’s made big catches, he’s got a lot of run after the catches, he turns some small plays into huge plays, and I think that he’s a great receiver. He’s a great competitor, and I’m sure it’s going to be a fun night for both of us because we’re both intense competitors and good players.”"

On Saturday, DT said he would love to match-up with Sherman and see where he stood in his game today.

Here is the video for Sherman’s response via NFL’s twitter account.

Broncos cornerback Dominque Rodgers-Cromartie is mulling retirement if the Denver Broncos defeat the Seattle Seahawks in Super Bowl 48. Here is more from what he said on media day via Patrick Saunders of The Denver Post:

"“That is a possibility,” he said. “I will need to take some time to think about that.”"

Denver head coach John Fox is enjoying the Broncos play of late as he should. The defense has stepped up and looks improved as they held the New England Patriots to just 16 points in the AFC Championship Game. Here is more from Fox via The Denver Post:

"“I think we have played our best football the last two months of the season,” Fox said Monday on the cruise ship Cornucopia, where he addressed the media. “I think our last two games (playoff victories over the Chargers and Patriots) showed that."

The Denver Broncos will not have practice Tuesday due to Media Day for Super Bowl 48. They will get back at it on Wednesday afternoon at the New York Jets facility.
