Containing Beast Mode:

The Broncos continued to stop the run early in the game with their pesky front-seven led by defensive tackle Terrance Knighton. He plugged the hole yet again as he came away with 5 tackles and 1 which was for a loss. Danny Trevathan was all over the field for Denver as he finally got the exposure he deserved. Danny finished with game with 12 tackles, 7 solo, and 1 for a loss.

The defense held running back Marshawn Lynch ‘aka’ Beast Mode to just 39 yards rushing on 15 attempts. Lynch had one big rush during the game that padded his stats a little as he broke out for an 18 yard gain. One thing they couldn’t stop however was the reverse plays to Percy Harvin. Harvin racked up 45 yards on 2 carries for an average of 22.5 per carry.
