Offense:
Despite quarterback Peyton Manning completing a Super Bowl record 34 passes in a game and wide receiver Demaryius Thomas catching 13 passes for 118 yards and 1 touchdown, some key parts of their offense went missing. Eric Decker for instance caught just one pass for 6 yards after being targeted five times throughout the game. Decker is a free-agent who is looking to cash in big bucks, but he gave Denver no reason to convince them on re-signing him.
The running game was non-existent due to the constant pressure from Seattle’s front seven. Knowshon Moreno, Montee Ball, and C.J. Anderson would carry the ball 13 times for just 28 yards; 1.9 yac.
The offensive would also turn the ball over four times; 2 fumbles and 2 interceptions. Denver looked to have a big play from wide receiver Demaryius Thomas but he would get it stripped away by Byron Maxwell.
