Colorado Avalanche captain Gabriel Landeskog recorded an assist in Sweden’s win over the Czech Republic on Wednesday. The assist came on the goal from Henrik Zetterberg in the 51st second of the second period as Sweden took the win, 4-2. – ESPN

According to Mike Chambers of The Denver Post, the Colorado Avalanche along with the Colorado Rockies and Coors Field are working on hosting a NHL Stadium Series game in LoDo. – Denver Post

The Denver Broncos extended Executive Vice President of Football Operations John Elway to a three-year contract extension Wednesday. They would also add the title of General Manager to Elway’s role. – Mile High Maniac
