This one could be a long-shot but Jairus Byrd would be a solid addition to a Broncos secondary that was depleted towards the end of the season. Byrd is expected to get a hefty contract according to Rotoworld.com.

"We fully expect Byrd to break the bank, potentially with the richest contract given to a safety in NFL free agent history."

It’s anything but a pipe dream from this point on unless Denver invests the money necessary in a premier safety like Byrd. It would be hard to see the Bills not attempt to re-sign him as I believe he will probably end back up in Buffalo. Denver would benefit from him in their secondary due to his big-time play-making ability.

The three-time Pro Bowl Selection (2009-2012-2013) started just 10 games last year for the Bills, compiling 37 tackles, 6 pass deflections, 1 forced fumble, and 4 interceptions. Byrd is a prototypical ball-hawk, as he has recorded 22 career interceptions and 33 pass deflections. Pairing him alongside Rahim Moore in the secondary would be a treat to see for Broncos fans.
