Denver can’t be too careful when it comes to protecting Peyton Manning. With potential changes within the o-line, they may need some depth and could even open a spot up to competition. Hurst wouldn’t necessarily be in line to start as a rookie, but he’s a prospect worth grabbing in the fifth or sixth round to see if he can develop into a starter eventually.
There are many more prospects that could end up being gems, but these 10 guys fit some of Denver’s key needs are could slide a little further than their talent suggests they should. If the Broncos walk away with more than a couple of these guys, there’s a decent chance their draft was a success.
