This is the third and final meeting between the two teams as San Antonio has won the series already, up 2-0 while they look to sweep the season series. Danny Green was green like money Wednesday night from behind-the-arc as he connected on 5-of-9 shots. He would finish with 16 points to go along with 2 rebounds and 1 steal. Aaron Brooks was a key spark off of the bench to get the Nuggets back into the game. The veteran guard scored 25 points on 9-of-18 shooting, collecting 5 rebounds and 8 assists in the losing effort.
Nuggets forwards Jan Vesely (rib bruise) and Wilson Chandler (strained groin) did not play in Wednesdays meeting and will likely miss Friday’s game as well. Kenneth Faried is having himself a month as the forward scored 24 points on 8-of-15 shooting with 10 rebounds and 4 steals Wednesday night.
