 Omer Asik

One of the biggest issues the Nuggets need to fix is post defense and I think Omer Asik is a great defender down low and would help keep the team from scoring in the paint. He’s been overcasted ever since Dwight Howard came to the Rockets, so I don’t see the Rockets wanting to keep him around. Not to mention, Asik has already expressed how much he wants to leave. He knows better than the rest of us that he can be a valuable starter to a team, which he would most likely be in Denver. In this trade, I would see Denver getting rid of one of their centers to make room for Asik to play and also giving Houston another player off the wing. Here’s the outline for this trade:

Denver Gets:

Omer Asik

Houston Gets:

J.J. Hickson

Quincy Miller
