Another trade that would improve their down low presence and post defense abilities, acquiring Gortat would be very beneficial to the Nuggets. Marcin Gortat really improved late in the season and has also been key in the Wizards playoff run that was ended by the Miami Heat. I think Denver would be able to make this trade work by giving the Wizards a starting-calibur center and a nice wing player that can help Washington off the bench. With Gortat starting at the center position for the Denver Nuggets, they would surely improve as a team. Especially with Ty Lawson at the point making things a lot easier for Gortat.
