Roby was the Denver Broncos first-round selection (31st overall) out of Ohio State University. He’s a fast corner with elite speed, running the 40-yard dash in 4.39 seconds. Roby impressed at Mini-Camp according to Cecil Lammey who is an NFL Insider for ESPN Denver.
Roby's speed so evident. He can stay in WRs back pocket downfield. Roby can also burst quickly to the play in front of him #Broncos

Lammey also noted that Roby kept up with Pro-Bowl wide receiver Demaryius Thomas on some routes which is good practice for the rookie. Roby projects to be in Denver’s nickel package situations with Chris Harris and Aqib Talib lining up on the outsides; barring injury.
After signing his deal, Roby said he plans to get his mother whatever she wants which is a great gesture from the young man. Broncos fans everywhere can’t wait to see what this kid can do on the field.
