The Colorado Rockies snapped a five-game losing streak yesterday, defeating the Los Angeles Dodgers, 8-7. Today, they will look to salvage a series split as the four-game series comes to an end.

Josh Beckett will be making his 17th start of the 2014 season in which he has gone 5-5 with a 2.37 ERA. The veteran got roughed up in his last outing against the Cleveland Indians, giving up five runs on six hits, walking one and striking out five in five innings. Beckett has not faced the Rockies this season.
Yohan Flande will be making his third career Major League start as the southpaw has yet to collect a victory. During his last outing against the Washington Nationals in D.C., Flande would give up three earned through 5.1 innings, walking one and striking out three. The week prior, he gave up four earned on six hits, walking one and striking out four against the St. Louis Cardinals.
