The Colorado Rockies bullpen has been a disaster this season, ranking 29th in the entire league with an ERA of 4.70. Colorado’s best reliever was a signing in the offseason which turns out to be LaTroy Hawkins.

Hawkins, 41, had a month of May giving up five earned in 7.2 innings, but has been rock solid since. During the month of June, Hawkins gave up just one run (unearned) during nine solid innings, yielding just two hits.

So far during the month of July, Hawk has given up one run on two hits, striking out three in five innings. There’s no question he has been the most consistent reliever for the Rockies this season.

Stats: 2-2, 2.45 ERA, 17/18 saves.
