The Colorado Rockies are currently winners of two-straight, coming off of an 8-1 victory over the Pittsburgh Pirates. Brett Anderson took care of business, pitching 6.1 strong innings of shutout ball as the southpaw picked up his first win in a Rockies uniform.

Jeff Locke gets the nod for the Pittsburgh Pirates, looking to avoid a series loss Saturday night. The southpaw last pitched against the Colorado Rockies last Sunday, giving up three runs on seven hits, walking two and striking out three. Locke would end up getting the no-decision, but his Pirates went on to win the game, 5-3.
Tyler Matzek takes the hill for the Colorado Rockies, looking to extend their winning streak to three-games. Matzek ended up getting the tough luck no-decision his last time out, pitching six strong while walking three and striking out eight. The southpaw gave up three runs but collected a career-high in strikeouts with eight, surpassing seven which he had in his Major League debut.
