The Colorado Rockies look to avoid the series loss Thursday afternoon as they take on the Chicago Cubs in the final game of a four-game set. The Rockies are coming off of a 6-4 victory in extra innings Wednesday night as Adam Ottavino picked up the save. Pitching Matchup:

COL: Pedro Hernandez (0-0, 0.00 ERA)
CHC: Jake Arrieta (5-2, 2.18 ERA)

Pedro Hernandez will take the mound for the Colorado Rockies looking to even the series up as he is making his first Major League start this season. The southpaw made his Major League debut back in 2012 for the Chicago White Sox, giving up eight runs on 12 hits, walking one and striking out two. He also made 12 starts for the Minnesota Twins in 2013, going 3-3 with an ERA of 6.83.

Jake Arrieta toes the rubber for the Chicago Cubs as he looks to give his team the series victory. The 28-year-old has been a surprise for the Cubs after struggling mightily in Baltimore last season. In his last start, Arrieta gave up two runs on five hits, walking one and striking out six. The St. Louis Cardinals went on to win the game, 6-3 as Arrieta was handed the no-decision.
