You cannot say enough about the job Juwan Thompson did Thursday night. Granted, a couple of his runs were called back due to penalties but he still made the most of his carries.

The undrafted rookie out of Duke University carried the ball six times Thursday night, collecting 59 yards on the ground with a long carry of 20 yards.

Thompson recently was given first-team reps with starter Montee Ball out of the lineup with an emergency appendectomy. In Denver’s next preseason game, it will be interesting to see how Thompson fares against one of the best linebacking corps in the game (49ers).
