It’s week three of the National Football league season as we showcase the next opponent on the Denver Broncos schedule, the defending Super Bowl Champion Seattle Seahawks. Denver is coming off of a week two victory over the Kansas City Chiefs while Seattle is coming off of a stunning defeat to the San Diego Chargers. It’s the rematch of Super Bowl 48; are you ready?

Below is our four members of Mile High Maniac and their take on the game Sunday afternoon.

Andrew Dill (Editor):
Prediction: Broncos 24, Seahawks 20.

Andrew’s take: This is a tough game to predict, honestly. These are two of the better teams, if not the best teams, in the National Football League — so it will all come down to taking care of the ball and capitalizing. I think this game could go either way, but I have a feeling Denver will come up with some big stops in the game. This is a totally different defense then the one Seattle saw in the Super Bowl. I expect Von Miller, DeMarcus Ware, and T.J. Ward to be the difference makers.

Joe Morrone (Co-Editor):
Prediction: Seahawks 28, Broncos 20.

Joe’s take: While I still believe that the Broncos are the team to beat in the AFC, this is a tough spot for them. The Seahawks are coming off of a loss and returning home where they almost never lose. The Broncos are still in the process of finding themselves on defense and the offense has yet to put together a complete game. If this game was later in the season, it might be a different story but it’s too tall of a task for the Broncos. They play well and are in the game but suffer their first loss of the season.

Joe McQuiston (Staff Writer):
Prediction: Broncos 27, Seahawks 20.

Joe’s take: Denver will come to play and stun the Seahawks at home.

Colton Strickler (Staff Writer):
Prediction: Broncos 24, Seahawks 21.

Colton’s take: I don’t see Peyton Manning losing to Seattle twice in a row, in two games so close together. Denver dumped $60 million into their defense to win games like this. I think it’s going to be a defensive ball game. I think Denver know exactly what to expect heading into this game. Denver knows how loud it’s going to be, they know what Seattle is capable of and I think Denver knows that they now possess a defense that can hang around with just about anybody in the NFL. This is going to be a great game.

Kickoff between the Denver Broncos and Seattle Seahawks is scheduled for 4:25 PM EST, 2:25 PM MST on CBS.
