The Denver Nuggets look to bounce back after suffering a home to defeat to the Sacramento Kings, 110-105. You have to feel pretty confident in Denver however, losing by just five points while shooting a dismal 38.7% percent from the field. Tonight they will have a chance at redemption vs. Sacramento on the road at Sleep Train Arena.

Denver has everything they need to be a contender in the Western Conference, but their shooting woes have attributed to their 1-2 record. Entering tonight’s game, Denver sits at the bottom of the league in terms of three-point percentage (24.3% percent). They could have easily defeated the Kings at home Monday night if they could have just knocked down a jumper or two – they missed an abundant of open looks.

Danilo Gallinari continues to struggle since coming back from ACL surgery. The Italian forward played in just 14 minutes of action Monday night, shooting 0-for-6 from the field as he failed to record a point. Denver desperately needs Gallo to contribute not only in the scoring department, but as a facilitator as well.
Denver needs to do a better job containing Kings point guard Darren Collison tonight. He had his way against Ty Lawson in their recent matchup, scoring 21 points on 5-of-9 shooting, including 11-of-13 from the charity stripe. Denver did well in containing Rudy Gay but they have to focus on DeMarcus Cousins and Collison without a doubt.
One can hope JaVale McGee can build off his last performace. Against Sacramento Monday night, McGee posted 16 points on 6-of-9 shooting in just 14 minutes of play. He would also haul down 4 rebounds while collecting 4 blocks.
