Terrance Knighton guarantees a Super Bowl victory for the Denver Broncos

Terrance Knighton and the Denver Broncos are confident right now, very confident in fact. After a 22-10 victory over the San Diego Chargers Sunday afternoon with a ill-bitten Peyton Manning, Denver clinched their fourth-straight AFC West Division title. In an article recently published by Mark Kiszla of The Denver Post, Knighton expressed his feelings towards a Broncos’ Super Bowl run.

"“It doesn’t matter what happens. At the end of the year, we’re hoisting that trophy.”"

Knighton would then go on to mention the New England Patriots and their future opponents:

"“I don’t care if New England doesn’t lose again. I don’t care where we have to play. I don’t care who our opponent is. We’re not going to be satisfied until we hoist that trophy.”"

Hearing this as a Broncos fan can only make you excited for the playoffs. Denver has improved since their week 11 letdown against the St. Louis Rams, realizing they actually have to run the ball to succeed. Since that game, Denver is 4-0 and outscoring opponents 114-79 – which would be a+35 ratio.

More from Denver Broncos

Denver has been able to get it done without their star quarterback providing a major impact. C.J. Anderson, alongside the offensive line, has helped transform the Denver Broncos into somewhat of a run-first team if you will. Juwan Thompson has also provided a solid back-up to Anderson where he rushed for a team-high 63 yards Dec. 7th vs. Buffalo.

Sure, saying one thing is completely different from doing it. Denver knows what kind of team they are capable of being and it’s a real scary one in fact. Denver has two games remaining in the regular season (@ Cincinnati – 12/22 and vs. Oakland – 12/28) before the playoffs start. Until then, you have to love the confidence shown by Terrance Knighton.

Knighton has been a road-block for teams trying to run the ball up the middle. Knighton went on to record two tackles in Sunday’s victory over San Diego and has collecting 26 tackles, 2.0 sacks, and 3 pass deflections so far this season.
