The Denver Nuggets received some good news regarding two of their key players. Kenneth Faried (ankle) and Danilo Gallinari (bruised right knee) returned to practice Tuesday afternoon and will be in the lineup tonight as they host the Houston Rockets at the Pepsi Center.

Denver has won just one out of their last seven games, this coming after an impressive five-game winning streak – talk about streaky. Denver will look to get back into the win column against a team led by James Harden and Dwight Howard.

More from Denver Nuggets

These two teams met last Saturday where Denver was without Nate Robinson and Gallinari. Faried did play in that game however, scoring just seven points and adding three rebounds off the bench. Denver lost a closely contested game by the final score of 108-96. Dwight Howard scored a game-high 26 points on 9-of-11 shooting, collecting 13 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 steal, and 3 blocks.

According to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports, Denver was among one of the most active teams on the phones this past week.

If the losing continues in the Mile High City, Denver could look to move some players. One player that should be drawing the most interest is Wilson Chandler. Chandler has been a reliable scorer for the Nuggets this season, averaging 14.5 points and 6.3 rebounds. Over Denver’s last five games, Wilson is averaging nearly 18.0 points per game to go along with 7.2 rebounds.

Tip-off between the Houston Rockets and Denver Nuggets is scheduled for 10:30 PM EST, 8:30 PM MST and the game will be televised on ESPN.
