Tulo, 30, has dealt with injuries throughout his career, but don’t let that prevent you from voting for, in my eyes, the best shortstop in the game. Over his eight year MLB career, Tulowitzki has hit .299 with 176 home runs and 604 RBI’s. Last season before injury, the slugger posted some pretty ridiculous stats. Just think what they would look like if he played the majority of the season.
Tulowitzki posted a line of .340/.432/.603 with 18 doubles, 1 triple, 21 home runs, and 57 RBI’s in just 91 games played during the 2014 season. Colorado’s franchise player was drawing MVP talks while his team got off to a good start. Injuries and lack of pitching depth led to another Rockies collapse, placing them in the basement of the National League West.
Get active on your Twitter accounts, especially you Rockies fans! Vote #TroyTulowitzki and #FaceOfMLB to increase Tulo’s chances of advancing to the next round!
