NO OFFENSE, NO TOUCHDOWNS

While the Denver Broncos held a 12-point halftime lead over the Oakland Raiders on Sunday, all of their points came from four field goals by Brandon McManus in the first half. While Brock Osweiler did not have poor game (35-51 for 308 yards with no INT’s), he did not throw for any touchdowns.

Every chance the Denver Broncos had in the red zone yesterday was futile, either leading to a field goal or a change in possession. Against good teams in Cincinnati and Pittsburgh over the next two weeks, that has to change. The run game was also non-existent, as Ronnie Hillman only recorded 20 yards on the ground on 12 carries. The injury to C.J. Anderson hurts, but should not limit the run game as much as it did this past Sunday.
