OFFENSIVE LINE WOES

The Denver Broncos offensive line did a poor job of blocking for quarterback Brock Osweiler yesterday against the Raiders. Oakland defensive end Khalil Mack had a banner day frustrating the Denver offensive line. Mack recorded five sacks (yes five) on Osweiler, one of which was a sack that was good for a safety, making the score 12-9 in the third quarter.

The offensive line’s inability to account for Khalil Mack on Sunday portends struggles in the future for the Denver Broncos. If Osweiler (or Peyton Manning) don’t possess the time to step back in the pocket and find receivers downfield, this team’s playoff outlook is grim.
