Jarome Iginla scored his 600th career goal, and the Colorado Avalanche snapped the Los Angeles Kings’ five-game winning streak, beating LA by a final score of 4-1.
Jarome Iginla became only the 19th player in NHL history to accomplish the feat of scoring 600 career goals. Jarome Iginla‘s 600th goal came with 6:48 left in the third period with the Avalanche leading the Kings 3-1. Iginla sent a wrist shot toward the goal, which subsequently found its way past the Kings’ Jhonas Enroth by way of defenseman Jake Inroth’s skate, giving Colorado a 4-1 lead to finish the night.

The Colorado Avalanche improved their record to 19-18-3 on the season, and 1-1-1 on their current 5-game homestand. For the Kings, Tyler Toffoli scored their only goal of the evening on the power play in the second period, knotting the game at 1-1.
