MOST FAVORABLE MATCHUP FOR DENVER BRONCOS

In my opinion, the best matchup for the Denver Broncos in the AFC Divisional round of the playoffs is the Houston Texans. While their defense is formidable, their offense lacks the punch of the Steelers and even the Chiefs, which gave the Broncos trouble this year in losses to both teams.

J.J. Watt would certainly give the Denver Broncos’ offense fits, but with the lack of a true running attack, the Broncos defense would find a way to give them a victory — especially with the game at Mile High. There is also some history in this game, as Head Coach Gary Kubiak helmed the Texans from 2006-2013.
