EVEN AT HALF-STRENGTH, BEN ROETHLISBERGER IS DANGEROUS

Don’t let all the Steelers’ injuries fool you, they still are a very dangerous team, and at the head of all of this is quarterback Ben Roethlisberger. After Roethlisberger was carted off the field in Cincinnati last week, there was doubt left in the minds of many that he would play again this postseason. Yet the notoriously tough quarterback who is known for playing injured came back into the game to help lead Pittsburgh to a Wild Card victory on the road.

Even though he has a sprained AC joint in his right shoulder and ligament tears, Roethlisberger will play. The Pittsburgh QB, even hurt, will test the Denver Broncos defense. Roethlisberger is an elusive quarterback, able to avoid sacks and pressure in the pocket and find his open receivers.

Without Antonio Brown, Big Ben does not have his favorite target, but there are still plenty of weapons for the Steelers on offense. Martavis Bryant is a huge threat with his speed and playmaking ability, as evidenced last week against the Bengals. Darrius Heyward-Bey is also a big target for Roethlisberger, and will attract more defensive attention without Brown on the field.
