Tim Connelly: Nuggets Extend GM

Some of Tim Connelly’s notable acquisitions via trades are Will Barton, who the Denver Nuggets acquired last season by sending Aaron Afflalo to the Portland Trail Blazers. Will Barton has become the second leading scorer on the Nuggets and one of the best 6th men in the association. Barton is averaging nearly 16 points per game. Connelly also hired current Head Coach Michael Malone last offseason.
Tim Connelly has also done an admirable job helming the team’s drafts, solidifying the Denver Nuggets frontcourt with Jusuf Nurkic, and Nikola Jokic — two of the Nuggets best young players. Point Guard Emmanuel Mudiay is also one of Tim Connelly’s notable draft picks since he took over the front-office for Denver. The Nuggets also have accrued valuable assets under the watch of Connelly, and now have 3 lottery protected picks and a protected 1st round pick via the Will Barton trade last year.
