The Denver Broncos are set to take on the Carolina Panthers in Super Bowl 50 on February 7th, so what must the Denver Broncos do to win the big one?

The Denver Broncos started out the 2015 season on fire; however, after an injury to Peyton Manning, the team rode a wave of inconsistency for the remainder of the year. However, due to the Denver Broncos’ hot start, they were able to secure the top overall seed in the AFC, giving them home-field advantage for the duration of the playoffs.

The Denver Broncos leaned on their stellar defense to help them lock up a spot in Super Bowl 50, defeating the Pittsburg Steelers and New England Patriots along the way. Against the Patriots, the Denver Broncos were able to consistently apply pressure to Tom Brady, recording 24 hits on the superstar quarterback, the most hit to any quarterback in playoff history.

Furthermore, the Denver Broncos were able to apply pressure by rushing just three or four players at a time, giving them ample coverage downfield to assist in pass coverage. But, with the Denver Broncos not fearing Tom Brady to scamper for gains, they may need to change their scheme to help contain Cam Newton in Super Bowl 50.

Peyton Manning and Cam Newton will face off against each other in Super Bowl 50, and their age gap is the largest ever in Super Bowl history. Also, the Denver Broncos and Carolina Panthers play two differing styles, with Cam Newton headlining the offense for the Panthers and the Denver Broncos’ defense looking to carry the load next Sunday.
