Denver Broncos Need O-Line to be Clutch

The Carolina Panthers are notorious for applying pressure to opposing teams’ quarterback; thus, the Denver Broncos offensive line needs to step up and protect Peyton Manning if they want to win next Sunday. We all know Peyton Manning’s mobility is, probably, the worst in the NFL, so any pressure that seeps through the line will likely result in a sack on Manning.

Thus, the Denver Broncos’ offensive line needs to be ready to cope with the Panthers’ increased pass rush, even if it means dropping Owen Daniels and/or C.J. Anderson into blocking roles. The Denver Broncos like to use Daniels and Anderson as receivers; however, their roles may change heading into Super Bowl 50.

It makes little-to-no sense to add receivers (like Daniels and Anderson) if Peyton Manning is under pressure on a regular basis, because the Denver Broncos need to focus on giving Manning ample time to complete passes and not worry about adding receivers downfield. For Manning and the Denver Broncos to have success, the o-line must show up and be a force in the trenches.
