Flying High with Frontier Airlines

Frontier Airlines is headquartered, and has their main hub, in Denver.  The low-cost airline is growing aggressively, adding numerous new routes this year.

The company struggled, and even fell into bankruptcy during the 2008 global recession, but things have bounced back nicely.  Frontier was even among the handful of airlines awarded new commercial routes to Cuba.

It was reported last year that Frontier was the 5th most profitable airline in the country, banking more than $50 million during just a single quarter of 2015.  There’s a history of airlines sponsoring sports venues, but generally they go for less expensive basketball arenas.

The Verdict: This could be a fit.  Lots of people fly Frontier out of Denver.  The company can probably afford the marketing cost and would benefit greatly from the prestige.
