Sandy Clough returns to Denver sports radio on Monday
Sports Radio 104.3 “The Fan” has announced that thirty-seven year radio veteran Sandy Clough will return to the airwaves on Monday.
Clough disappeared from the station a few months ago, leaving many fans to ask the question “where’s Sandy?” on message boards.
Well folks, we have some good news… he’s back!
Clough’s absence is being left unexplained by the station, likely because it involved a dispute with management. But the veteran talker has now has been given hosting duties on a self-titled show that will air weekdays from 10am-noon, beginning Monday, July 25.
“As one of the most recognizable voices in Denver Sports Radio history, it’s great to have Sandy in a timeslot where he has flourished in the past,” said KKFN’s program director Armen Williams. “We’re excited to have his unmistakable presence leading into the second half of the day.”

Clough had previously been co-hosting an afternoon program called “Sandy and Stokley” alongside former NFL wide receiver Brandon Stokley.
The re-named “CJ and Stokley” fills Clough’s seat with former University of Colorado quarterback and longtime Denver radio host Charles “CJ” Johnson. That show will continue to run weekdays from 12-3pm.
KKFN continues to dominate in the radio ratings, even during the slower summer months. The station is drawing approximately ten-times the audience of AM rivals like KDSP 730 and Altitude Sports Radio.
