Broncos Training Camp: What you need to know to have a good time
The Denver Broncos will report to training camp today with sky high expectations and a lot of big questions to be answered.
If you’re a fan thinking of attending any of the public practices, we’ve got you covered.
Training camp runs from 9:30am-Noon, subject to change at any time. Fans can arrive in the parking lot at 7am and gates will open at 8am.
Where do fans sit?
I won’t lie to you, it’s not great. The seating area for fans is “on a natural grass surface with a very limited amount of shade, so please bring proper footwear, clothing and sunscreen.”
The team does not allow fans to bring their own chairs or umbrellas. If you have a stroller for your child, it must be left at the gate. Special arrangements can be made for those with disabilities.
Can fans get autographs?
Yes. Following each practice that’s open to the public, attending fans will have the opportunity to get autographs from their favorite players over by the guest seating area located on the west end of the practice fields.
Can fans bring cameras?
Still cameras are okay, videos are not allowed. That includes Facebook Live and Periscope — both streaming services are strictly off-limits.
The clear bag policy applies
The Broncos are using the same clear bag policy for training camp that they use at Mile High. Each fan may carry one bag that is clear plastic, vinyl or PVC, no larger than 12″ x 6″ x 12″ or a one-gallon clear plastic freezer bag (Ziploc or similar).
In addition to one of the bags noted above, fans may also carry in a small clutch bag or purse approximately the size of a hand, with or without a handle or strap, subject to search.
