The Denver Broncos 2011 season is one that fans will remember forever. It was a season of miracles as they managed to make the playoffs with an 8-8 record, and won a playoff game. What games were the best games from that season?

The 2011 Denver Broncos were a team that didn’t have high expectations. Fans and national media alike had them as bottom dwellers. Yet, they managed to win eight games on their way to a division title and playoff spot, where they won a ninth game.

With playoffs included, they went 9-9, which isn’t a good record. What made this season special was how exciting they were to watch. So many close games where one play had a direct impact on the outcome of the game. All those nail-bitter games, that one just can’t help but not love.

The excitement wasn’t void of controversy and heartbreak. There was plenty of controversy surrounding the quarterback situation, and it was there all season long. From who should be the quarterback, to how good is the quarterback. It was never-ending.

As for heartbreak, even though expectations were low, fans still want to see their team come away with the win against other teams. Denver didn’t always do that. Some teams fans just hate to see Denver lose against, and they were inevitable.

The criteria for the games are, how much the games meant, how exciting they were, and how the team did to come away with the win. Of course, the five best are all going to be wins, as a loss can’t ever be one of the best games, unless the team won four games or less…

So, what was the fifth best game of the 2011 Denver Broncos season?
